This is just bad – not the racing, the boats or the venue, but the video production and the annoying announcer who bizarrely insists on having his person on the screen the entire time. I guess so that we can watch him bumble on camera trying to find which boat is which, while at the same time struggle to pronounce the names of some of the foreign sailors?
It’s just distracting, unnecessary and blocks some of the action, and these are the reasons why nobody does this. And even though it is ridiculous censorship, I can see why the comments are turned off.
Don’t know who this dude is, and if he is volunteering, good for him. But a World Championship deserves a better product, and y’all know it.
