Sure, all the America’s Cup teams started racing against each other today in a “Preliminary Regatta” off Naples. And yes, lottsa people are hungry for some actual racing, including us, but we are not really that hungry.
Certainly not to watch AC 40’s race.
Yes, they are cool and fast af, but that ain’t the Cup. Imagine if F1 was racing in F3 cars as a “Preliminary Race”. (In truth, it would be awesome to watch that, so my analogy is clearly horseshit!). The teams do need to get out there racing, but it has little if any bearing on what the actual racing will be like in the Big Rigs.
