…Any publicity is good publicity! Peter Swanson, the man behind the Loose Cannon, wrote a little piece about me today, so I thought I’d share it. And for the record, it was not me who wrote the words that got us in trouble, but my poor editorial judgement at the time allowed it to get published. Onward and upward!
Unless you follow sailboat racing, which I do not—a good sail spoilt!—you might not be aware of a dude named Scot Tempesta or how he got fired from SailingAnarchy, an online media outlet that he founded.
Yeah, that’s his real name. The Tempestuous One is a force of nature, a dropper of F-Bombs and other “indiscretions,” not to mention a history of hurling insults at guys who can afford good lawyers. He did not name the outlet SailingAnarchy fer nuthin’.
The news from San Diego arrived months after the event. Tempesta himself actually had to let me know how he had been ignomously “flicked,” as part of the process of promoting his new gig.
